I’m Zak Korvin, an English artist living in the Sacred Valley, Perú.

I’m passionate about geometric art, but not just because I like to make pretty patterns. If I wanted to do that I’d use a computer. When I’m drawing geometry I become fully immersed and the world disappears for a moment. As cliché as it sounds it’s all about the journey, not the destination.

Inside I share tips and tricks as well as full length, narrated tutorials that don’t just explain the steps but my thought process too.
I call them tutorials but they’re more like workshops, I’ll walk you through the creative process step by step but most of the time I’m drawing it for the first time too so you can see me problem solving and freestyling my designs.

How is this different to the content that is already on YouTube?
My goal is to share my knowledge of mandalas and geometric art. However, I started my YouTube channel as a place to express myself and I want the two to be separate. While I will still drop some knowledge on YouTube, I want to keep it pure and free from sponsors. And most importantly, a place for me to share what I’m personally creating and hopefully inspire you to create your own cool stuff.
Also, the tutorials on YouTube are all edited into bite size videos. The videos inside The Circle are long and show the whole process from start to finish.

Do I need to be good at maths?
No. Although this artform is apparently mathematical, there’s no requirement to know anything about formulas or equations.
What supplies do I need to get started?

- Compass (locking compass is best)
- Any kind of straight-edge (it doesn’t need numbers)
- Pencil

- Paper

Can I join from anywhere in the world?
Of course, The Circle is totally online.
What language is your content and does it have subtitles?
Everything is in English and almost all the tutorials have translated subtitles in French, Spanish, German, Russian and Portuguese.
Will you teach me the meaning and benefits of the symbols?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. My strong point is drawing geometric art, it’s what I’m best at so I’m not going to pretend to be an expert or claim I know everything about these metaphysical things because, well, I don’t. There are a bunch of people way smarter than me that can explain all of that. But I’ll show you how to draw them.
How do I cancel my membership?
If you want to leave The Circle, you can cancel anytime.
Go to account > membership > cancel
After you cancel your subscription, you will still have access to your subscription until the end of the current billing cycle.
